Mickey Schiller, Chief Executive Officer
Mickey Schiller is Leumi UK’s CEO, and leads the firm’s lending activities across the Property Finance, Hotel Finance, and Asset-Based Lending teams.
He has 25 years’ experience in financial services and technology, and prior to leading Leumi UK held senior positions at leading financial institutions around the globe, including with Bank Hapoalim as head of international banking, ABN AMRO Bank Asia as head of strategy and business development, and Standard Chartered Bank as global markets structurer.
He also sits on the board of UK Finance, the trade association representing the UK’s banking and financial services sector, where he seeks to make sure the industry remains safe, transparent and innovative.
After joining Leumi UK in 2020, Mickey orchestrated the firm's strategic pivot from a regulated banking entity to a non-regulated credit entity while streamlining operations. Mickey's leadership also saw Leumi UK transition smoothly to a digital- and cloud-first IT approach and the firm adopt a performance-driven culture.
Under his strategic oversight, Leumi UK's expertise, relationship-driven and agile approach has led to a doubling of the loan book, record profits, and positioned it as the go-to funding partner in the property, hotels and asset-based sectors.
