Brassica and potato growers and general leading arable farmers Spalding-based Lincolnshire Field Products “LFP” has refinanced from a traditional clearing bank to Leumi ABL in a multi-million-pound facility comprising invoice discounting, plant and machinery and property finance. The facilities enable LFP to invest for future growth and provide seasonal working capital.

LFP supplies produce all year-round including broccoli, cauliflowers, sprouts, cabbage and kale into many of the UK supermarkets that are currently enjoying buoyant growth as the population stay at home during this lockdown period.

Jason Holland, Regional Sales Director at Leumi ABL, said: “This business is run by lovely people with strong systems and controls around it. Their service, backed up by supermarkets’ own measures, is second to none and consistent quality standards ensure they are a first port of call for brassicas and other fresh products.”

Aubrey Day, Group Finance Director at LFP, said: “From the first time we met Jason and Leumi, we were very comfortable with the straightforward and refreshing approach – matters progressed extremely smoothly and the facilities, which were unavailable from our existing bank, give LFP an even firmer footing for future years.”
