Leumi ABL provides Compass Business Finance with a £20m facility to support growth

Leumi ABL has provided Compass Business Finance, a specialist leasing business, with a £20 million block discounting facility to support its continued growth and the expansion of its lending activities.  

The facility gives Compass a flexible revolving funding structure, allowing it to grow its loan book while preserving cash flow as it scales. The bespoke solution bridges the gap between a traditional block discounting facility and a wholesale funding structure, tailored to Compass's specific requirements.  

Compass Business Finance is an established leasing business, born out of the print sector, but now providing finance solutions to industries such as print and packaging, engineering, construction, professions and renewables. Leumi ABL's consultative approach and ability to structure a bespoke funding solution were central to completing the transaction. It was particularly important for Leumi to be able to fund loan agreements backed by government guarantee schemes.
